What to Expect:
Letter & Email Writing Assistance 📩
🔹 Step 1: Initial Consultation (15-30 minutes, Online or Phone Call)
-
You’ll share details about the issue you need assistance with (e.g., housing application, complaint, financial aid request, school admission, etc.).
-
We’ll assess the urgency and determine the best approach.
🔹 Step 2: Drafting the Letter or Email
-
Based on the details you provide, we will draft a professional and effective letter or email.
-
If additional documents are needed (e.g., proof of income, medical letters, tenancy agreements), we will guide you on how to gather them.
🔹 Step 3: Review & Submission
-
You’ll receive the draft for review. We’ll make edits if needed to ensure accuracy.
-
We guide you on how to send it to the correct department or organization. If required, we can assist with email submission or mailing.
-
🔹 Step 4: Follow-Up Support
-
If there’s a response, we’ll help you understand what it means and guide you on the next steps.
-
If no response is received within the expected time, we’ll advise on follow-up actions.
Emergency Financial Aid 💰 (Limited Availability – Application Required)
🔹 Step 1: Application Submission
-
You’ll complete a short application form detailing your current financial situation and the reason for requesting aid (groceries, travel, childcare, etc.).
-
Supporting documents may be required (e.g., benefit statements, childcare receipts, proof of financial hardship).
🔹 Step 2: Review & Decision
-
Applications are reviewed within 3-5 business days (urgent cases are prioritized).
-
If approved, we’ll inform you of the assistance amount and payment method (e.g., grocery voucher, direct payment to service provider, etc.).
🔹 Step 3: Fund Distribution & Follow-Up
-
Funds or vouchers will be distributed based on availability.
-
We may follow up to ensure the aid provided has helped with your situation and explore any long-term support options.
Personal Confidant Support ☎️ (A Safe Space for Mothers to Talk & Be Heard)
🔹 Step 1: Booking a Session
-
You’ll schedule a private 30-60 minute session, either by phone, Zoom, or in-person (depending on availability).
🔹 Step 2: Open & Judgment-Free Conversation

You can talk freely about your concerns—whether it’s co-parenting, personal struggles, or future goals.

We listen with compassion and without judgment, offering guidance or just a space for you to release emotions.
🔹 Step 3: Support & Next Steps
-
If needed, we’ll offer practical advice, referrals, or coping strategies to help with your situation.
-
You’ll receive an invitation to our weekly support group meetups if you’d like to connect with other mothers.
